Design Research Conference
The Interdisciplinary Design Institute of Washington State University Spokane will hold its Seventh Annual Design Research Conference October 6-7, 2011: Integrative Design, Social Networks, and Public Health: places, practices, participation and research. This is an interactive conference in which invited speakers, paper presenters and students from a wide range of disciplines participate in multiple venues for the exchange of ideas during the conference. Please see the Call for Proposals (PDF); submissions are due by April 6.
Since 2004, the Design Institute has annually hosted its Design Research Conference, calling for papers, projects, and posters based on a chosen topic.
In keeping with its mission, the Design Institute encourages submissions from a wide range of disciplines, such as natural and social sciences, health fields, the arts, and the design disciplines.
Participation is not limited to the academic world—the business world, as well as the public and private sectors may also enter submissions.
