Applying for course as part of a master's degree:

Teachers may take the ProCert program for university credit, as part of a master’s degree program or merely for advancement on their district salary schedule. Graduate applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible; there are several steps to the admission process.

• First, you must apply to the WSU Graduate School for acceptance to the university. (If you are not seeking a master’s degree, you may apply as an “undecided graduate,” which provides an abbreviated process.)

• Second, you must submit the departmental application form.

• Third, if you are pursuing a master’s degree program, you must apply to the department for acceptance into the master’s degree program.
