Circulation

Identification

Users must present a valid EWU, WSU, other Summit university, or Community Library borrower's card to check out materials.

Always bring your EWU, WSU, other Summit university, or Community Library card with you.

Loan periods

Loan periods vary in length from overnight to an entire semester. One book might circulate for 30 days while another checked out at the same time could have either a 28-day or one-semester loan period. The libraries in Pullman, Cheney, and at the Riverpoint Campus all have different circulation policies.

All materials are subject to a two-week recall; if another patron needs an item, you may have to return an item in two weeks.

Reserve materials

Reserve materials and distance degree program tapes are generally circulated for in-library use only. Check out laptop computers  - see our Technology section for more info.

Return

Please return all materials to the circulation desk or to the book drop at the Riverpoint Campus Library. Items checked out from WSU Pullman, from EWU Cheney, or from other Summit Libraries may also be returned at the Riverpoint Campus Library.
