Campus art
This artwork was acquired through Washington State’s Art in Public Places Program and is part of the State Art Collection—a collection of over 4,500 works located at public schools, state agencies, colleges, and universities.
The Washington State Arts Commission’s Art in Public Places Program is funded through the state’s capital construction budget. Community representatives develop criteria, select artists, and review artwork proposals for new artwork.

Campus arts committee
Riverpoint Campus is both an educational facility and a destination for larger audiences. In keeping with these functions, the campus should develop a public art collection that adds depth to the educational mission and creates connections with the broader community—engaging visitors of all ages and promoting discourse about art.
