Wireless Network Name (SSID): Riverpoint WiFi
Microsoft Windows:
Right-click the wireless icon in the Taskbar (lower right)
Select ‘Connect to a network’
Select ‘Riverpoint WiFi’
Click on the ‘Connect’ button
The connection stage begins... You will be prompted for your username and password:
WSU users, enter: ad\Network-ID and associated password (Network-ID is same as what you use for Zzusis)
EWU users, please enter: eastern\NetID and associated password (NetID is same as what you use for computer lab)
Click the ‘Ok’ button to continue
If you are prompted with a certificate, please accept it and follow the prompts
Apple Mac:
Open Network Preferences
With Wi-Fi selected, click on ‘Join Other Network’
Name the connection: Riverpoint WiFi (case sensitive)
Change the Security to ‘WPA2 Enterprise’
You will be prompted for your username and password:
WSU users, enter: ad\Network-ID and associated password (Network-ID is same as what you use for Zzusis)
EWU users, please enter: eastern\NetID and associated password (NetID is same as what you use for computer lab)
Click ‘Join’ and you’ll connect
If you are prompted with a certificate, please accept it and follow the prompts
Apple iOS (iPhone, iPod, iPad):
Open ‘Settings’ then ‘Wi-Fi’
Choose ‘Other’ and type in the name: Riverpoint WiFi (case sensitive)
Change the Security to ‘WPA2 Enterprise’
You will be prompted for your username and password:
WSU users, enter: ad\Network-ID and associated password (Network-ID is same as what you use for Zzusis)
EWU users, please enter: eastern\NetID and associated password (NetID is same as what you use for computer lab)
Click ‘Join’ and you’ll connect
Please note: Due to some incompatibilities, you may have to repeat the above steps more than once
Android (telephones and tablets):
Go to: Settings – Wi-Fi
+Add Network, type in ‘Riverpoint WiFi’
Change the security to ‘802.1x EAP’
In the Identity and password promts:
WSU users, enter: ad\Network-ID and associated password (Network-ID is same as what you use for Zzusis)
EWU users, please enter: eastern\NetID> and associated password (NetID is same as what you use for computer lab)
Click ‘Join’ and you’ll connect
If you are prompted with a certificate, please accept it and follow the prompts
