Riverpoint ITS can assist individual faculty or staff members with institution-supplied desktop, laptop, and other computing purchases. We can also help departments make larger-scale bulk computing purchases for their entire staff, team, or group.

Riverpoint ITS can act as purchasing advisor for institution-supplied desktops and laptop computers. Our experienced technicians can help you identify your individual or department-wide computing needs, research vendors, and present you with all of the available system options within your budget. Additionally, our technicians may also act as consultants for personal equipment purchases to ensure that new equipment is compatible with the Riverpoint network or other systems.

Getting Started

If you’re interested in making a computer purchase, submit a Computer Request Form. For questions, contact the Technical Support Center, located on the third  floor of the Academic Center (SAC Room 311). Technicians are available Monday-Thursday 7:30am-8pm, Friday 7:30am-5pm, and Saturday 8am-5pm, excluding University holidays. Contact by phone at (509) 358-7748 or by email at spok.it.help@wsu.edu.

Rates

There are no costs associated with desktop or laptop consultation or recommendation. Equipment must be purchased by individuals or departments; costs vary based on vendor pricing and selected system options.
