Benefits

The campus network is critical to Riverpoint’s ability to function as a world-class learning environment. To safeguard this crucial resource, Riverpoint ITS continuously monitors network traffic to identify unusual or malicious activity.

Features

  • Our intrusion detection software monitors the Riverpoint network 24 hours a day, seven days a week in order to establish an expected network activity baseline. Any activity outside this baseline is immediately flagged for investigation.
  • In addition to detection, Riverpoint ITS also proactively scans for any potential weaknesses and implements the appropriate security software – eliminating potential breaches before they can be exploited.
  • Intrusion detection applies to all software and equipment on our network and housed in our data center, including our Storage Area Network and all servers housed under the Server Hosting & Co-Location service.
