Riverpoint ITS offers training opportunities for faculty and staff on the latest software and technical equipment available on campus. While we are a Riverpoint service department, we also consider ourselves educators – investing in the education of our faculty and staff as our part in fulfilling Riverpoint’s dedication to creating a world class learning environment.

Benefits

The Technical Support Center schedules training sessions for individuals, groups, or departments based on their software or technical equipment education needs. Training classes are conveniently held on campus in either the SAC computer lab or the ITS training classroom. One-on-one training sessions can even be scheduled right at your workstation.

Features

  •  The Technical Support Center arranges classes based on need and will group users based on education needs. Trainees learn from the pros while they work alongside their peers.
  •  Our distance learning classrooms can be daunting to the new instructor. Classroom Support technicians can help you master their audiovisual features and keep your focus on educating your students – not troubleshooting equipment.
  •  Training classes are flexible and can be designed to help the beginner become comfortable with common software or can be geared toward the experienced user to help maximize productivity.

Interested in technical training? Contact the Technical Support Center, located on the third floor of the Academic Center (SAC Room 311). Technicians are available Monday-Thursday 7:30am-8pm, Friday 7:30am-5pm, and Saturday 8am-5pm, excluding University holidays. Contact by phone at (509) 358-7748 or by email at spok.it.help@wsu.edu.

There are no costs associated with scheduling or leading training programs, classes, or sessions for faculty, staff, or our institutional partners.
