CRIME AND FIRE STATISTICS/THE JEANNE CLERY ACT

Washington State University Spokane maintains records of crime statistics for the last three academic years in accordance with the "Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act" (originally the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990). It is a federal law that requires institutions of higher education in the United States to disclose campus security information including crime statistics for the campus and surrounding areas, maintenance of a daily crime log as well as providing timely notification and warnings of certain types of crimes in the university community. For more information on the Jeanne Clery Act, click HERE. The WSU Spokane Campus Security Department is responsible for maintaining these records and issuing warnings as required by the Act. The crime statistics are published at the Security website.

  • Facilities Operations Office located in the South Campus Facility Building, office 310.

  • Crime statistics will be reported by the 10th of each month to the City of Spokane

  • A copy of the report will be sent to the WSU Pullman Police Department.
