Faculty who care about your success
At WSU Spokane, you’ll study with such scholars as:
Ruth Bindler
The director of the WSU College of Nursing PhD program, Bindler's own research focuses on making a difference in the health of our children. The quality of her scholarship earned Bindler the distinction of becoming WSU's first Cougar Gold Scholar.
With Kenn Daratha, also of the WSU College of Nursing, Bindler is currently co-investigator of a $1.33 million USDA-funded study on cardiovascular and type 2 diabetes risk factors in children.
Dennis Ray
Dennis Ray is the recipient of one of the Washington Association of School Administrator’s highest honors.
He is also head of a program that prepares over two-thirds of Washington State's future school superintendents to lead educational change and improvement, thereby addressing the state's critical shortage of well-prepared administrators.
Bryan Vila
Bryan Vila is a nationally recognized expert on crime control and human performance issues and a former law enforcement officer.
Before coming to WSU Spokane, Vila directed the Crime Control and Prevention Research Division of the National Institute of Justice—the research arm of the U.S. Department of Justice.
