Reaching Out With Help
Has a student's behavior caused you to worry about his or her potential future actions? Are you concerned about a student's physical or mental health?
Pursuing rigorous academic programs while balancing personal responsibilities can be stressful at times and it is vital to the success and well-being of our students that we recognize when there is a problem.
Here at WSU, we have a mental health professional available to work with students in a private, confidential setting, and providing information below can help us reach out to students that may need help.
Confidentiality will be maintained subject to any legal obligations of disclosure and also subject to WSU's duty to follow up and take appropriate action in response to the information.
Additionally, your name and contact information are optional, but we encourage you to provide this information since it often helps for our follow-up process. Thank you.
CALL 911 IF THERE IS AN IMMEDIATE POSSIBILITY THAT A STUDENT MAY HARM HER/HIMSELF OR OTHERS.
