Cougar Discount Card

The CougarCard is the official WSU identification card for every student, faulty and staff member at Washington State University. It offers a convenient, easy, and safe way to make purchases and utilize campus services. Use your CougarCard today!

**Cougar CASH is not an acceptable payment form for tuition or fees.

Cougar Cash

 Your Cougar CASH is a debit account. When you deposit cash through your account it becomes available via your CougarCard. As you make purchases, the amount is deducted from your Cougar Cash account.

Adding Cougar CASH is easy…


You can add cash at the Student Affairs cashier station. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.— 5 p.m. The  office accepts cash, checks, Visa or MasterCard.

ONLINE at www.cougarcard.wsu.edu

Make real-time deposits conveniently day or night using Visa or MasterCard at cougarcard.wsu.edu and have immediate access to your deposits.


Call the cougar Card center at 335-CARD (2273) to make deposits using Visa or MasterCard.


Simply send a check or money order to CUB Room 60 Pullman, WA 99164-7204. Please include your WSU ID number on your check.


WSU employees may have funds directly deposited into Cougar CASH from their paycheck. It’s easy and convenience to manage your payroll deduction online using our self-service tools at cougarcard.wsu.edu.

Rights and Responsibilities

The CougarCard holder is responsible for reporting lost or stolen cards to the Student Affairs Office in the Academic Center 130, or by calling 509-358-7978. A replacement fee will be required if any CougarCard is lost, stolen or mutilated. 

Our self-service tools make managing your Cougar CASH account easy. Using your WSU Network ID, to logon to our self-service tools at www.cougarcard.wsu.edu, provides an easy, convenient and secure way to manage your Cougar CASH. You can check your account balances, deactivate a lost or stolen card, or even view a detailed transaction statement on-line 24 hours per day from the comfort of your own home.


Can EWU and Pullman students participate in the events?

EWU and Pullman students do not qualify for the student prices for the events and programs. In order to attend these events, the EWU and Pullman students must be the guest of a WSU Spokane student. This is dictated by where the students pay their S & A fees.

Can I apply for more than one Travel Grant per year?

No. Students are only allowed one award per academic year. Students cannot apply for more than one travel grant in a given semester. If violations occur, students may be disqualified from earning an award. if you are unsure about your application, please contact the ASWSUS office.
