Tell us about your academic/career goals or why you chose your career path?
I hope to work at The MultiCare Deaconess Hospital Orthopedic/Neurology Unit when I graduate. Eventually, I would like to attend Washington State University or Gonzaga University’s Nurse Practitioner program and practice as an NP in the Spokane area.

What is your favorite spot on campus and why?
My favorite spot is the library because of the view it has of Spokane and Gonzaga.

What advice do you have for incoming students?
Perform self-care. Any time you have a little break with school, go do something you love.

How do you define success?
Success is living a fulfilling life that makes one happy.

What are you doing right now to help propel you toward continued academic or career success?
I am currently an Anatomy/Biology teaching assistant and tutor at Eastern Washington University. This upcoming summer of 2022, I am going to apply for a student nurse tech or phlebotomist position at one of the Spokane hospitals.

What would you name the autobiography of your life?
Work Hard Play Hard

When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you pass the time?
I usually lace up my running shoes and run 3-4 miles around the neighborhood.

What does it mean to you to be a WSU Cougar?
It means a lot. WSU has respect within the community, and I represent that by providing holistic, loving, and respectful care for patients.

What or who has made the most meaningful impacts/differences in helping you succeed?
In the past year, the death of my best friend Malachi has made the most impact on my life. It happened in the beginning of my J2 semester. The loss created a flurry of emotions that motivated me to work very hard in class and at clinical practicums. I work and live for Malachi every day.
