Community Partnership Application Guidelines
WSU Health Sciences Spokane receives numerous requests from community agencies, nonprofit organizations and local businesses seeking funding for various events and activities. An allocation committee reviews each request according to its guidelines and available funding.
WSU Health Sciences Spokane’s community partnership funds are used for events or activities that:
- Are consistent with Washington State University and WSU Health Sciences Spokane’s mission, vision, and core values
- Improve health and life sciences within our community as well as to the rural and underserved
- Improve the health or well-being of our campus, staff, faculty, and students
- Demonstrate effective program performance, financial responsibility and accountability
WSU Health Sciences community partnerships funds will not be used for political activities or activities contrary to the mission, values and ethical directives of Washington State University.
Applications for funding will be reviewed twice each year. Requests are due by May 31 and December 1. Applications received after the deadline will be reviewed during the next cycle. Sponsorship requests must be received at least two months before the scheduled event or program in order to receive consideration.
