Human Resource Services presents a New Employee Orientation that is designed as a 3-part workshop over the course of 1 day. In the morning, we conduct the first portion which is applicable to all employees. In the afternoon, we split off into 2 different retirement sections depending on what your employment type is; there are different retirement options for different employment types. WSU's Departmental Personnel Payroll System (DEPPS) is the Administrative Information System that contains information on employees, payroll and position control. This workshop features practice in navigating through the many query screens that detail such things as salary history, work location, position type and employee demographics. Authorized access to DEPPS is a prerequisite to attending this course. See registration information here.

This introductory overview is intended to provide answers to such questions as: To whom do the ethics requirements apply?
