13th Annual Spokane River Clean-up (U-District)

September 17, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join the WSU Spokane Cougs in the Community program for the 13th Annual Spokane River Clean-Up on Saturday, September 17th!

Each year, hundreds of volunteers spend their Saturday morning picking up garbage and recyclable materials from public land along the Spokane River. In 2013, volunteers removed four tons of debris from various sections of the river.  This year, WSU Spokane Cougs will cover locations in the University District area.  Whether you are a first-timer or an experienced picker-upper, you’re invited to join the fun!  The Spokane River Clean-Up is a great way to give back to the community while cleaning and beautifying the outdoor space adjacent to campus.

To register as an individual or a team, please contact WSU Spokane Cougs in the Community at Spokane.engagement@wsu.edu
