Biomedical Seminar Series

All are welcome to attend the following seminar on Tuesday, Oct 3, Noon – 1:00p.m. in SAC 341.

” Genomic Instability and Tumorigenesis:  confounding roles of essential caretaker genes” will be presented by, Zhiyuan Shen, MD, PhD, Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

The Shen lab is proficient in many technical aspects from molecular biology, animal models, and translational research. Shen has comprehensive training in radiation biology, cell and molecular biology, and cancer biology. Dr. Shen has successfully trained several graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the past, and is experienced with guiding and communicating with students, postdocs, and other lab personnel to design and conduct efficient and scientifically sound experiments.
