Cyber Security Awareness Summit

State’s top security officer to speak at Cyber Security Awareness Summit in Pullman Oct. 25
Agnes Kirk, Washington state’s chief information security officer, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s WSU Cyber Security Awareness Summit on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center on the Pullman campus. For those unable to travel to Pullman, the event will be livestreamed to all other WSU campuses.
The summit also includes several speakers from the information security, network security, and cyber security industries, as well as special topic panels, presentations/demonstrations, and live Q&A sessions. More information is available here.
For the month leading up to the summit, ITS is also featuring Hacktober trivia on its Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts (@ITSWSU). Students, faculty, and staff who participate in Hacktober trivia get entered into weekly prize drawings and a grand prize drawing at the end of the month for a chance to win one of two Kindle Fire HD 8’s.
