Department Chairs and Directors Workshop

The Department Chairs and Directors Training Workshops are designed to address the needs of current and experienced chairs, faculty and administrators of academic units.
Human Resource Services collaborates with the Office of the Provost to coordinate this annual series addressing such topics as faculty performance reviews, personnel issues, recruitment, leadership and communication.
Making the Hard Decisions (Part 2): Dealing with Difficult Personnel Issues
This session is designed to help explain personnel issues policies and processes at WSU regarding staff performance evaluations, as well as faculty and staff disciplinary policies. Designed around the use of case studies, the panel will help us workshop appropriate solutions and map out proper procedures and best practices.
