Dialogue Session: Sexual Harassment of Women

August 5, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

WSU Health Sciences Student Affairs and the Health Sciences Diversity Committee invite the campus and college communities to participate in one of the dialogue sessions based on a report from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.  The report is titled Sexual Harassment of Women: Climate, Culture, and Consequences in Academic Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (2018).

To review this report, contact Jim Mohr, Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs.  Though the report is lengthy, the focus will be on the sixth and seventh chapters, which encompasses approximately 70 pages. The chapters are titled Changing the Culture and Climate in Higher Education and the Findings, Conclusions, and Recommendations.

The sessions are in dialogue format, which means they are participant-led. The groups will be small (6 to 8 people) in order to offer true dialogue and give everyone a chance to participate.

Please select the date you would like to attend from the list of dates below.  Email Jim Mohr to reserve your spot on your selected date.  Rooms will be provided once they are confirmed.  Participants in Yakima will be able to participate via Zoom.

Dialogues Session Dates:

August 5 – 3:00 – 4:30 pm

August 7 – 9:00 – 10:30 am
