DMECS Research Connections Series

The Research Connections Series of the Department of Medical Education and Clinical Sciences at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine aims to showcase their talented and productive faculty and the great research they are doing, while also spurring new collaborations within and across departments, colleges, and campuses.

Presentations this month include:

“Epidemiological Studies on Cannabis Use,” presented by Karl Alcover, PhD; Postdoctoral Research Associate, Behavioral Health Innovations, Department of Medical Education and Clinical Sciences, Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, WSU.

“Type 1 Diabetes and Cognition,” presented by Naomi Chaytor, PhD, ABPP; Board Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist, Associate Professor, Department of Medical Education and Clinical Sciences, Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, WSU.

The DMECS Research Connections Series will be held every third Tuesday each month from 12:10 pm to 1:00 pm in SAC 41. Light refreshments and pizza will be served. For those interested in attending via zoom https://wsu.zoom.us/j/851870315 .  Everyone is welcome.
