Family-Friendly Community Health Fair

Health sciences students from WSU and EWU are hosting a family friendly Community Health & Resource Fair at East Central Community Center on Saturday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a free BBQ lunch at 12:30 p.m. Residents of the East Central neighborhood have been invited, and all others are welcome.
The free health screenings offered by the students include blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, bone density, BMI, oxygen level, fitness, and health awareness education.
Mascots from both schools – Butch T. Cougar and Swoop – will be there from Noon to 1 p.m. and other family friendly activities will be offered. The Smith-Barbieri Progressive Fund is a supporting sponsor.
