First Aid-AED-CPR training
November 7, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
First Aid/AED/CPR classes are open to all faculty and staff on campus. Due to budget constraints and college specific requirements, the colleges of Nursing and Pharmacy are not able to participate in this training. If an individual in those colleges wishes to participate on their own, they will be responsible for the full cost.
Employees should seek approval to cover the expense of the class from their department prior to signing up. The cost for all classes is $15 per person. If you register for the class and do not attend you will be billed. Register through Norene Phillipson. Dates and times are below:
- Tuesday, Nov. 7, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., SEWC 118
- Thursday, Nov. 9, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., CCRS 250
The class is now seven hours of instruction. The American Heart Association has added lots of new information that AHA instructor, Kathy Conlin, needs to cover during the class.
The class will be held on one day with a half hour lunch. Feel free to bring water and a snack to class for both the morning and afternoon sessions
