First Friday Research Seminar

Connie Nguyen-Truong, PhD, RN, PCCN, will present “Feasibility of a Breast Health Education Intervention for Vietnamese American Immigrant Women.” The event will take place on Friday, February 3, 12:10-1:15pm, in SNRS 401.
Early Care for Health-Vietnamese Women’s Breast Health pilot study is framed by culturally targeted adaptations of the Transtheoretical Model of Change and the Health Belief Model. The interactive group education and individual counseling successfully increased mammography screening. For those who cannot attend, the Research First Friday will be videostreamed and archived.
