Free land-grant symposium to help shape WSU’s future

May 7, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Faculty and staff statewide are encouraged to register to attend a free symposium May 7 focused on the future of the nation’s land-grant universities.

The symposium, which will take place on the WSU Pullman campus and be livestreamed systemwide, will feature Stephen Gavazzi, coauthor of Land-Grant Universities for the Future. Gavazzi (pictured) will deliver the keynote address and lead a series of dialogues focused on the need for land-grants to evolve to maintain their relevancy and value to the public.

The symposium will set the stage for discussions that lead to the creation of WSU’s first system-focused strategic plan in the coming months.

REGISTER HERE.   If you plan on attending via livestream and can’t make it to SAC 20, you must register to receive the livestream link.
