GWIMS: Reducing Gender Bias and Barriers to Women’s Advancement

The Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine Group of Women in Medicine and Science (GWIMS) is hosting, Reducing Gender Bias and Barriers to Women’s Advancement, presented by Michelle Carter, PhD, associate professor, WSU Carson College of Business.
Carter is a leading consultant on a $1 million NSF grant aimed at increasing the number of women professors in information systems. Carter will speak to suggested actions and strategies toward mitigating bias and removing barriers that women faculty and allies can pursue.
