IPE Mechanical Heart Patients

“A Heart to Heart: From mechanical hearts to Heart.” Caring for patients with a mechanical heart will be discussed at an interprofessional education (IPE) activity scheduled for noon to 2:30 p.m. in South Campus Facility on Friday, March 11. Topics discussed will include a team approach to caring for such patients, meeting the needs of LVAD patients, and what types of devices are used.
