New Leadership Institute – Networking and Keynote event

The National Education for Women’s Leadership at WSU Health Sciences is hosting a Networking and Keynote event on July 11. The reception begins at 5:30 p.m. with the keynote beginning at 7 p.m. Both events take place in HSB 110 A-D.  RSVP here.

The program’s mission at WSU and across the nation is to develop a new generation of women leaders. WSU Health Sciences faculty and staff are invited to this networking event in support of the NEW Leadership Cohort.

This year’s NEW Leadership Keynote Speaker is former WSU Health Sciences Chancellor and current Director of the Washington State Department of Commerce Lisa Brown. She is also the former senate majority leader and recipient of the Women in Business Leadership and WSU Lifetime Achievement awards.

The NEW Leadership Institute is at WSU Health Sciences July 11 – 16. Students across Eastern Washington are coming together to learn about politics and public leadership from experienced political women and community leaders. The program teaches college women the importance of translating individual action into public policy, and helps them understand the connection between politics and community by connecting them with leaders like you, who work every day to make a difference.
