Peace Day workshop at GU for WSU Faculty

Gonzaga University’s Institute for Hate Studies is recognizing the International Day of Peace with a free two-hour “Peace Pedagogy Faculty Workshop” for all interested faculty in Spokane.

The workshop is 3 – 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, in the Hemmingston Center, lower level auditorium Room 004.

Guest speaker is David J. Smith, author of the book “Peace Jobs: A Student’s Guide to Starting a Career Working for Peace.” Smith has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and civic and global education, including employment with the U.S. Institute for Peace.
