Personal safety awareness training

February 6, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

“Shelter in Place, Emergency Response Personnel will contact you shortly” comes across your cell phone and work email.

Do you know what to do? What is Shelter in Place?  Does your personal safety plan account for this? Are you ready for an emergency?

If not, you should consider attending the WSU Campus Safety training where you will learn the difference between Shelter in Place, Lockdown, Evacuation.  WSU Spokane Environmental Health and Safety department is providing a short (approximately 1 hour) presentation at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, in SAC 205.

This training is open to anyone on the campus (not just WSU employees).  If you want to attend, contact Chad Trent at chad.trent@wsu.edu or sign up through the WSU Online Training System.
