Perspectives in Transgender Health

ASWSUS, Student Diversity Center and the LGBTQI+ Health groups have gotten together to bring you a panel of experts to discuss Transgender Health in the Inland Northwest.

Panelists will include:
General Care Practitioner, currently operating the first Gender Health clinic in Spokae, WA
Pharmacist, experienced in counseling patents who have been prescribed various transition therapy agents
Speech and Hearing Specialist, who works with vocal training for patients who desire to have a higher or lower voice
Masters in Social Work student, who hosts training events for area health networks and hospitals on how to navigate difficult (but necessary) health conversations with their transgender patients

Food will be available(to WSU Health Sciences students) at 5:00pm and we will begin the panel discussion at 5:30pm. This event will be available via AMS to all WSU campus locations. See the CougSync event for campus specific details.
*Food at this event will only be served to WSU students (make sure you have your cougar card!), and priority seating will be given to WSU and EWU students from the Riverpoint Campus.
