Provost and Executive Vice President candidate presentation

Faculty, staff, and students system-wide are invited to meet and help evaluate three finalists for the position of provost and executive vice president who will visit the university April 22, 25, and 29.
Each finalist will give a public presentation and answer questions during open sessions that will be broadcast to locations at each campus*. The finalists also will be interviewed by search committee members, faculty, administrators and students. The next provost is expected to be announced in early May.
Luis Garcia currently is a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Vermont. He served as dean of the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at UVM, Vermont’s land-grant university, from 2013-2018.
Dr. Garcia’s presentation will be held in Nursing 201. Everyone is invited to attend.
