Public forum about proposed bus rapid transit route through University District set for Tuesday, July 25
See the latest designs and locations to be served by the Spokane Transit Authority’s Central City Line at a public forum from 5:30 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, in the Community Building, 35 W. Main Ave. This is the second public forum in a series of stakeholder forums planned.
The STA’s Central City Line is a six-mile Bus Rapid Transit route connecting Brown’s Addition to Spokane Community College by way of Downtown Spokane and the University District. Two stops are proposed for the WSU Spokane campus.
The line is expected to increase service to campus, reduce bus wait time, provide opportunity for better pedestrian access and designated bicycle lanes. Read more.
