Psychometric validation using exploratory factor analysis on the Breastfeeding Relationship Scale

Description: The purpose of this study was to test psychometric properties of a 25-items self-reported instruments, the Breastfeeding Relationship Scale (BFRS). Exploratory Factor Analyses suggested the BFRS consisted of 16 items with 3 factors: Perceived Adequate Milk, Mother-Infant Interactions and Breastfeeding Synchronicity.

Language Access Research for Community Health: Provider Perspectives on Language Assistance Techniques, Technology, and Barriers

Description: In the U.S., healthcare institutions that receive federal funding are legally required to provide language assistance services; however, little is known about the types of services employed by healthcare providers and the challenges they face in providing these services. In partnership with an academic-community coalition that advocates for language access policies and practices, this research examines healthcare provider perspectives on language assistance techniques.
