Seattle Translational Research Institute Seminar

“An Introduction to Dissemination and Implementation Research” is the title of a free seminar by the Institute of Translational Health Sciences in Seattle, a partnership between Fred Hutch, Seattle Children’s and the University of Washington.
Because it takes an average of 20 years for discoveries to move to the clinical practice phase, many promising discoveries never reach those who would benefit. This free seminar explains Dissemination and Implementation Research as a growing field that aims to shorten that time.
Speaker, Dr. Michael Parchman, is a nationally recognized scholar in chronic illness care research, and the director of Group Health Institute’s MacColl Center for Health Care Innovation.
