Seminar seeks to connect recovery providers

$30.00“Journey Through Recovery – Improving Outcomes Through Innovative Care” is the title of a one-day seminar set for Monday, Nov. 5, at the Deaconess Health & Education Center, 910 W. 5th Ave., Spokane, Room 267, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cost is $30 and includes breakfast and lunch. Category 1 CME available.
Sponsors are MultiCare Health System, March of Dimes and WSU Spokane. The purpose of the conference is to connect community partners who work with chemically using pregnant and parenting women. The seminar is for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social service professionals and community service organizations.
Featured speaker is James Walsh, Ph.D., M.D., medical director of Addiction Recovery Service, Swedish Medical Center.
