This Interprofessional Education (IPE) event is presented by second-year graduate students within the EWU Communication Sciences and Disorders department and the WSU Speech and Hearing Sciences department. Come enjoy breakfast food, refreshments, and games! You will communicate solely using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). This event will provide you with the opportunity to experience what it is like to communicate without speaking. This is a wonderful learning opportunity and provides some perspective for the patients we serve that use AAC devices. You don’t need to bring anything but an open mind (AAC boards, and materials will be provided).
