Sleep and Performance Research Center-Seminar

Maja Pajcin is a senior graduate student at the University of South Australia and will present a seminar entitled, ‘Salivary alpha-amylase: a potential biomarker in sleep research.’

 Ms. Maja Pajcin has an undergraduate degree in Laboratory Medicine and completed her honors research investigating the peripheral immune function of methamphetamine users. In 2014, she commenced her PhD research project under the supervision of Dr. Chris Della Vedova and Associate Professor Siobhan Banks. Her PhD research is focused on the investigation of potential biomarkers for assessing sleepiness-related deficits in alertness and attention during sleep loss. She recently completed her PhD thesis and submitted it for evaluation last month.
