Nate Watson, MD, will present “The Rise of Consumer Sleep Technologies”
Dr. Watson is a professor of neurology at the University of Washington, Seattle. He joined the UW faculty in 2002. He is also a past president of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Nathaniel Fletcher Watson, M.D., is director of the UW Medicine Sleep Clinic and co-director of the UW Medicine Sleep Center. Dr. Watson is a board-certified neurologist and sleep specialist who is adept at diagnosing and treating clinical sleep disorders of all types.
Dr. Watson’s clinical interests include using polysomnography, multiple sleep latency testing, maintenance-of-wakefulness testing and actigraphy in the diagnosis and management of sleep disorders.
Dr. Watson’s research interests focus on aspects of sleep duration and the effects of sleep curtailment on human health. He is also interested in the interplay between neurological disorders and sleep, as well as the relationship between sleep disorders, cancer risk and outcomes.
