What’s in Your Water? Not Enough Fluoride

January 21, 2020 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Health Sciences Student Advocacy Association co-hosting: What’s in Your Water? Not Enough Fluoride.

The benefits of good oral health are countless. As the CDC puts it: oral health affects our ability to speak, smile, eat, and show emotions. It also affects self-esteem, school performance, and attendance at work and school.  What does oral health have to do with fluoridation? And what is the status of oral health in Spokane?

Come to a panel discussion to learn more from City Council President Breean Beggs, as well as local dentists and doctors. Over pizza, the panel will discuss the status of oral health in the city and provide a primer on addressing controversial health and scientific topics.

Please RSVP here.

Staff, faculty, and students are all invited!
