Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Program
Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month early with food, films, and fun! Stop by the Student Diversity Center throughout the day for fun activities and free food! We will be showing the Movies "Moana" and "Grave of the Fireflies". We will also have games, a buffet, and a jeopardy competition. We hope to see you there!

Third Annual Paint the Coug!
Paint the Coug is an annual program coordinated by the Student Diversity Center. This program is about creating a Canvas Art mosaic of the WSU Cougar and talking about Diversity and Inclusion programs you would love to see on campus. This year we will have you paint your canvas to represent what inspires you to help the community. Let's bring our Coug community together!

Web of Inclusion
Stop by the Student Diversity Center and tell part of your story! We have a board up where you can share snippets of your life and see how connected we all are. We hope to create an intricate web showcasing the backgrounds of the WSU/EWU Spokane students! Lets work together to help make Ronald McDonald House wishes come true by donating to their September needs wish list. All items collected will go directly to current and future residents of the Ronald McDonald House including critically ill patients and their families staying at the facility.

We will have a guest speaker and she will be presenting about Guatemala's culture, food, heritage, and language. Come and learn about this rich and amazing country! We will have time afterwards for questions and discussions about what you learned, what surprised you, and in general how amazing a place like Guatemala is really like.

We will be ;learning how to make Papel Picado! Papel Picado is a traditional decoration in Hispanic celebrations with various designs and colors! We will also be learnign how to make different paper flowers that everyone will be able to take home and the Papel Picado will be put together into a banner and hung up in the Diversity Center! So come on by and make some decorations for yourself and to leave a lasting impression on the Diversity Center!

ALLY TRAINING Ally Training is a campus-wide network of students, faculty, staff, and instructors. It is designed to promote an inclusive campus community through advocacy, education, support, and resources for LGBTQ individuals by creating a visible network of allies. The Clothesline Project
The Clothesline Project honors survivors of intimate partner violence. Anyone who has experienced such violence, at any time in their life, is encouraged to come forward and design a shirt.
