Webinar workshop – Functional Genomics at NCBI: High-throughput studies archived in Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO)
In this two-hour introductory webinar to GEO, you will learn about the content and organization of the GEO archive and individual records. In practical examples, attendees will explore data resulting from a strategy that researchers often utilize in functional genomic: perturbation of a single gene and its impact on global gene expression. Attendees will focus on two technologies that allow genome-wide quantitative gene expression assessment, namely microarrays and RNA-Seq. IMPORTANT REGISTRATION HERE FOR ON-LINE ACCESS.
