All departments must have two people who have been trained in inputting hours for hourly staff and reviewing gross pay for departmental employees. You cannot access DEPTPAY without this training. Training – Paid Sick Leave Requirements

Initiative 1433, which was approved by Washington voters in 2016, requires employers to provide paid sick leave to most employees beginning January 1, 2018. Eligible employees will earn 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked. This training covers the policies and processes WSU has implemented to comply with the new state law. Dialogue Session: Sexual Harassment of Women

WSU Health Sciences Student Affairs and the Health Sciences Diversity Committee invite the campus and college communities to participate in one of the dialogue sessions based on a report from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. In the morning, we conduct the first portion which is applicable to all employees. In the afternoon, we split off into 2 different retirement sections depending on what your employment type is; there are different retirement options for different employment types.
