“Gen Silent” documentary showing

National Coming Out Day is Oct. 11. In conjunction with this day, the LGBTQI+ Health Interest Group, made up of students in the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, will show the documentary "Gen Silent" with members of the local senior LGBT group. See more information here.

The documentary will be shown from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in SAC 20. A follow-up discussion about the film will follow. All are welcome. Snacks will be provided.

We are collecting clothing donations to be donated to help others in the coming harsh Spokane winters and we would love the campus community to get involved! Please bring clothes (men, women, kids) to donation bin within the Student Diversity Center (SAC 105A) or marked boxes around campus.

Velasquez, M.D., the former president and chief executive officer for PAML (Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories) and PAML Ventures, will facilitate an interactive discussion on how you can sharpen your leadership skills to have a successful career. First Aid-AED-CPR Training

First Aid/AED/CPR classes are open to all faculty and staff on campus. Employees should seek approval to cover the expense of the class through their department prior to registering. Individuals may sign up for the class if funding is not available through their department, but will be responsible to pay by personal check prior to the training session. The cost for all classes is $25 per person. If you register for the class and do not attend you will be billed.
