Presenter: Gwen Moscoe, PharmD will present a framework and lexicon for gender variance, review the treatments available to patients pursuing gender confirmation, and explain how health care providers can optimally interact with transgender patients. National Coming Out Day is Oct. 11. In conjunction with this day, the LGBTQI+ Health Interest Group, made up of students in the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, will show the documentary "Gen Silent" with members of the local senior LGBT group. See more information here.
