Categories of Employment

Administrative Professional Staff
Administrative Professional (AP) positions perform administrative, managerial, professional, research, public service and extension duties. These positions are exempt from coverage of the state of Washington Civil Service System.

Civil Service Staff
These employees are covered under the State of Washington Department of Personnel Civil Service Rules.

Employees who are appointed to faculty positions and perform academic, extension, library and student affairs duties.

Student Work-Study
All student, work-study, and hourly positions are posted on the Student Employment Center’s website.
