Blackboard Learning Management
Blackboard, Washington State University’s Learning Management System, is the primary point of contact for or students and faculty outside the classroom. ITS can help faculty optimize Blackboard for their communications, course material, grading tasks, and content – improving their students’ overall learning experience.
In addition to offering basic Blackboard Support, ITS offers advanced Blackboard solutions for our instructors involving course optimization, streaming options, web collaboration, and course evaluations. We can also help instructors implement tools to help them follow their students’ academic progress and keep students engaged, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Advanced solutions offered include course backup, minimizing student email volumes, using macros, following student progress with agents, and exporting course content such as gradebooks or multiple assignment submissions.
- ITS can help explain and implement Blackboard’s options for video and audio streaming and can help you add and maintain captured lectures or other content.
- ITS can also organize workshops, email tips, or even work with you hands-on to help get the most from our learning management system.
