Office & Workgroup Printers
Faculty, Staff, Departments
Although technology has enabled the widespread use of electronic documentation, hard copies are still essential for presentational, promotional, and instructional use. Campus ITS technicians can assist with researching appropriate printing solutions, installing printers, basic repair, and manufacturer warranty claims.
- Workgroup printers, also called pod printers, can be accessed by specific members of a department, group, or team. Campus ITS technicians can set restrictions on use of these printers by outside staff and can help department members manage their printing options.
- Campus ITS technicians can also assist with the installation and configuration of single-user printers – designed for fast and convenient in-office printing.
- In addition to purchase consultation and support, Campus ITS technicians can also help users with basic repairs and warranty assistance for both office and workgroup printers.
If you are interested in making a printer purchase, submit a Computer Request Form. For questions, contact the Technical Support Center, located on the third floor of the Academic Center (SAC Room 311). Contact by phone at (509) 358-7748 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that departments or individual office printer users are responsible for replacement printer parts, including ink and toner supplies. There are no costs associated with printer consultation, installation, or basic support.
