They are selected by a committee ahead of commencement.\u00a0WSU Spokane will feature a\u00a0Spotlight Student each day through May 13.<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Angel Li wasted no time becoming involved with her university.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><!--more-->As a pre-nursing student in Pullman, Li was the president of the Pre-Nursing Club, manager of the International Center Program, and a team leader for the WSU Asian Pacific American Student Coalition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Once she entered her nursing studies at WSU Spokane, Li&#8217;s involvement grew. She was a <a href=\"https:\/\/nursing.wsu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">College of Nursing<\/a> Volunteer Research Assistant and had a poster presentation at the <a href=\"https:\/\/spokane.wsu.edu\/research\/research-events\/inland-northwest-research-symposium\/\" target=\"_blank\">Inland Northwest Research Symposium<\/a> on campus in 2015.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Li joined the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsna.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Washington State Nurses Association<\/a> at Nurse Legislation Day.
