They are selected by a committee ahead of commencement.\u00a0WSU Spokane will feature a\u00a0Spotlight Student each day through May 13.<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In October of 2011, Allison Perrine\u00a0lost her mother to breast cancer.
